ARCHIMEDES at IEA/AIE 2026

A researcher from Graz University of Technology, Stan Muñoz Gutierrez, presented the ARCHIMEDES project work, "Spectral Fault Receptive Fields: A MATLAB Toolbox for Health Monitoring of Rotating Machinery," at the IEA/AIE 2026 conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


The presentation provided an opportunity to discuss interpretable approaches to health monitoring, exchange ideas with researchers from around the world, and learn about recent developments in artificial intelligence and industrial engineering.


Muñoz Gutierrez expressed appreciation to the conference organisers, session participants and attendees for the engaging discussions. Special thanks were extended to Prof. Hamido Fujita for his hospitality and support throughout the conference, and to Roxane Koitz-Hristov for chairing the session.


Acknowledgement was also given to co-author Franz Wotawa, colleagues at the Institute of Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence at Graz University of Technology, and the wider ARCHIMEDES project team for their collaboration and continued support.


The presentation marks another step in the ongoing research into interpretable health monitoring for rotating machinery, with the team looking forward to continuing this line of work.
