Researchers from ISEA, RWTH Aachen University, Laurids and Tianlong Albert, presented two recent ARCHIMEDES studies at IPEC 2026 – ECCE Asia in Nagasaki, Japan.

The presented papers were:

  • Toward Direct Aging Detection of SiC MOSFETs Using Switching Delay Measurements

  • Online Junction Temperature Sensing of GaN GITs Utilizing the Gate Diode Forward Voltage

The conference provided an excellent opportunity to share the team's latest research with an international audience and to exchange ideas with fellow researchers and industry partners. The valuable feedback received during the event will help inform the next stages of the research.

The ARCHIMEDES team looks forward to the next steps towards more reliable SiC and GaN power devices through continued research and collaboration.
