ARCHIMEDES Battery String Successfully Completes First Ground Run Tests
The ARCHIMEDES project has reached another important technical milestone with the successful completion of the first ground run tests of the ARCHIMEDES battery string at Advantec. The tests represent a key validation step for the aircraft's battery system, before the test flights. This achievement reflects the close collaboration between project partners and the dedication of the multidisciplinary teams involved in battery design, integration, testing, and system validation.


ARCHIMEDES at IEA/AIE 2026
A researcher from Graz University of Technology, Stan Muñoz Gutierrez, presented the ARCHIMEDES project work, "Spectral Fault Receptive Fields: A MATLAB Toolbox for Health Monitoring of Rotating Machinery," at the IEA/AIE 2026 conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ARCHIMEDES at PCIM 2026
At this year's PCIM, Diane BONKOUNGOU from CEA represented the ARCHIMEDES project by presenting a poster entitled "SiC MOSFET Gate Switching Stress with In-Situ Threshold Voltage Monitoring and Self-Heating Analysis."
