ARCHIMEDES Coordinator Represents European Innovation at ICIPI 2025 in Taiwan

The ARCHIMEDES project coordinator, Reiner John, took part in the 26th International Conference on Industrial Technology Innovation (ICIPI 2025) in Taiwan.

During the conference, Reiner John delivered a presentation titled “AI+ Systems and Quantum Sensing: Building Resilient Innovation – A European Vision for Taiwan’s Strategic Partner.” He shared insights from the ongoing A-IQ Ready, ARCHIMEDES, and Cynergy4MIE projects, all of which are focused on advancing AI-driven systems, quantum sensing, and cross-continental innovation.

The conference served as a valuable platform for exploring intercontinental collaboration and addressing key strategic questions, including:

  • How can Taiwan and Europe combine their strengths in semiconductors, ICT, and robotics for mutual benefit?

  • Which global technology trends will most influence future AI and robotics research priorities?

  • Where can joint research and industrial applications be developed—from smart manufacturing and healthcare to robotics and sustainable mobility?

  • What policy instruments and cooperation platforms best support long-term collaboration?

  • How can innovation ecosystems, talent exchange programmes, and pilot projects be co-developed to strengthen shared global leadership?

The discussions highlighted the importance of international cooperation in shaping the future of industrial technology, innovation, and sustainable growth.
