First Meeting of the ARCHIMEDES Advisory Board

On 28 March 2025, the ARCHIMEDES project convened its first Advisory Board meeting, bringing together key partners and experts to review the project's structure, progress, and strategic direction. The meeting served as an important opportunity to engage with the broader advisory community and ensure alignment across technical and organisational priorities.

The session opened with a welcome and introduction by Geoffroy Martin, followed by an overview of the ARCHIMEDES project and a presentation of Work Package 1 by Stellantis, setting the foundation for the discussions that followed.

The agenda continued with a presentation on Work Package 7 (Standardisation) by STMicroelectronics, which focused on the project's approach to harmonising technical and regulatory standards.

Next, a series of presentations on the project’s key Supply Chain (SC) pillars were delivered by:

  • Vitesco Technologies – Supply Chain 1

  • AVL – Supply Chain 2

  • Silicon Austria Labs – Supply Chain 3

  • SAFRAN – Supply Chain 4

  • Watt & Well – Supply Chain 5

Each presentation provided insight into the specific goals, technical challenges, and planned contributions of the respective workstreams. Discussions emphasised the importance of coordination across partners and the broader value of ARCHIMEDES in strengthening Europe’s position in advanced electronics and systems integration.

The Advisory Board offered valuable feedback and highlighted the significance of early collaboration and knowledge exchange in ensuring the long-term success of the project.

This first meeting marks the beginning of a sustained dialogue between the project and its advisory members, who will continue to provide strategic guidance as ARCHIMEDES progresses.
